Pump Head Pressure = (Flow Rate x Total Dynamic Head) / Pump Efficiency

Where:

• Flow rate is the volume of fluid being pumped, typically measured in gallons per minute (gpm) or liters per minute (lpm)
• Total dynamic head is the total resistance to flow that the pump must overcome, including the vertical distance the fluid needs to be pumped, the friction loss in the piping system, and any other losses due to fittings or valves. It is typically measured in feet (ft) or meters (m)
• Pump efficiency is the percentage of the input energy that is converted into useful output, expressed as a decimal. For example, if a pump has an efficiency of 70%, its efficiency would be 0.7.
